These terms describe use of the PanelDirectory website and business directory. By using the site, you agree to use it responsibly and for lawful purposes. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

Listings bring together business information supplied by businesses, submitted through requests or sourced for directory records. Details may be incomplete or change over time. Check contact details, services, accreditation, insurance arrangements, pricing and availability directly with the relevant business before making a decision.

PanelDirectory is not a government register or accreditation authority. A registry ID identifies a record in this directory; it does not establish legal registration, qualification or endorsement.

Listed, Verified, Certified and Integration ready describe different directory record statuses. The meaning and limits of these labels are explained on our standards page. A status badge is not a warranty of repair quality or a promise that a business is suitable for every vehicle.

Insurer approvals and certifications are separate from listing status. Ask the business or issuing organisation to confirm that any approval remains current and applies to the work you require.

Quotes, bookings, repairs, payments and disputes are arrangements between you and the business concerned. PanelDirectory does not perform vehicle repairs or enter those contracts on your behalf. Contact the business directly about its work, pricing or service.

External websites and map services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Only submit information you are authorised to provide. Business details must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you must have permission to supply any photographs, logos or personal information. Do not submit confidential customer details or information unrelated to the listing request.

Submitting a request does not immediately publish a listing or grant account access. Claims and new listings require review. A request may be declined or further information requested when the record or authority cannot be established.

Do not impersonate a business, submit misleading information, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access or use directory contact details for unsolicited bulk messaging. Do not copy or reuse photographs, logos or other protected material without the rights holder’s permission.

Links to public listings may be shared. Any wider reuse of directory content should be discussed with us first.

You can request a correction through the relevant listing. We may update, restrict or remove content to address inaccuracies, ownership disputes, inappropriate material or operational requirements. Website availability may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

These terms are intended to be governed by New Zealand law. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. The treatment of personal information is described in the privacy notice.

Maps, place ratings and review counts are supplied by Google Maps Platform, using Places API (New). Your use of these Google features is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

PanelDirectory does not accept or store its own business reviews. Read-review and leave-review links take you to Google. Ratings may be unavailable or differ from Google’s current display. Listing and ownership status do not establish that Google reviews are verified.

Claiming a Basic listing is free. Verified email and independent ownership review are required. Paid Enhanced and Featured plans are monthly in NZD plus GST; Featured is the total plan price. Confirmed active Panel Quote members receive Enhanced at no additional charge and may purchase Featured placement separately. Paid placement is labelled sponsored and does not change business verification.

Payments, payment-method updates, receipts, plan changes and cancellation are handled through Stripe-hosted Checkout and the billing portal. Entitlements depend on verified subscription state. Ending a paid plan does not delete a listing or its stored profile. Live charging remains disabled until commercial activation is approved.

Insurer selections are made by the repairer and do not imply insurer approval or affiliation. Repairs remain subject to the insurer’s claim requirements. See Stripe’s legal terms.
